just had dinner at the best restaurant ever, and it was truly the most amazing culinary experience of my life. The food was absolutely incredible, but what made it even more special was the wonderful chef — the mom behind it all. She is the kindest, most talented woman you could ever meet. Her warmth and passion made the whole evening unforgettable.

While exploring Ravello, Italy, we stumbled upon Cumpa Cosimo Restaurant, a true hidden gem. The night before, it was packed, so we returned for lunch—and we’re so glad we did. We were greeted by Nonna (grandma) Netta, who welcomed us like family, kissed me on the head 💕, and insisted I try her tiramisu. Suddenly, it felt less like dining out and more like coming home to grandma’s cooking.
We enjoyed their famous cannelloni and fettuccine Bolognese for lunch, then came back again for dinner—because it was that good! Dinner highlights included lasagna, chicken (so moist & perfectly cooked), and fresh salad. Every dish tasted homemade, comforting, and filled with tradition.

The most authentic Italian food we ate on the Amalfi Coast! Would go back again and again if we were staying in Ravello. Beautiful fresh pasta. Welcoming and kind staff. So attentive checking on us constantly and interacting with our kids. Our best experience to date! You don’t need a coastal view when the food is so delicious!

Quite possibly the most authentic restaurant we have had in our entire Amalfi coast trip. Nestled in a small square off the beaten path in the heart of Ravello. A family run trattoria spanning over 100 years. Food to die for, atmosphere unmistakably Italian and the friendly welcoming smile on everyone’s face is testament to how wonderful the place is.
Will definitely be back one day.

Local yummy restaurant in very small town. The service is very good. Food is very tasty. And they give us a best tiramisu we eat it all!! We love grilled fish and chicken with tomato sauce!! Pls come and try the Italian local foods here 🇮🇹🫶🏻

Took a trip down the Almafi Coast, and our driver recommended this restaurant. The waiters could tell we weren't sure what to order, so the sweet owner Mama came over and offered 5 different kinds of pasta and served it family style. It was so good and fresh. She then brought out 2 tiramisu to share. Enjoyable lunch.

You have not had the full Ravello experience if you haven’t eaten here. Nonna is the best! So generous and so much fun! You will not leave here hungry! Food was outstanding and Italian grandmother experience priceless!

Breaking my rule of not eating at the same place twice and going back tonight. This place is so homey, authentic and delicious! I'm not a dessert person but after a taste of the free tiramasu I may or may not have had seconds 🫣 10/10 would go again!

Wouldn't usually enter a restaurant 30 minutes before closing time as a waitress myself but we were both very hungry. The seafood pasta was definitely tasty (do not mix with cheese!!) and the lovely madam served delicious tiramisu. Felt very comfortable dining here as two teenagers. Grazie mille 💌

I had a delicious mushroom pasta super light and amazing taste ! Very homemade. This place is so authentic! So much history and the owner she is so special gives that family feeling I love in Italy. Super recommend. And the tiramisu is fantastic too

This was the best meal we had on our trip to Italy! We ate the bolognese and gnocchi which were nothing less than excellent! We liked it so much that we ordered another dish of ravioli. The service at the place was amazing, the waiters were charming and helpful. Don't miss a visit to the restaurant and order the tiramisu for dessert!

We happened to pass this place as we were walking around Ravello, and I'm so happy we decided to give it a try! The menu is simple, but the food was DELICIOUS! I had the pasta arrabiatta and my partner had a pizza - both excellent! On top of that, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the owner was walking around greeting all of the patrons. We are gonna try to come back for lunch later this week!

We stopped here on a whim and so glad we did. The food was simple but so fresh and flavorful. It has a family restaurant feel. We came back every night of our stay. On our last night the owner, Netta, brought us desserts until we couldn’t eat anymore! We normally don’t like tiramisu but we ate every last bite!! Loved all the food we had so much, absolutely delicious, the service was great and Netta was a true gem!!

One of the best meals I’ve had in Italy. Truly a real home cooked meal. I had the pasta sampler and every pasta was amazing. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Mama, the owner, is hysterical and makes the atmosphere feel like home.
